D-TEC Trailers B.V.VMA - levering van speciale apparatuur voor de mesttransport en bemonstering

Burgers and D-TEC are showing a new variant of the BD City Dolly.

A new variant of the Burgers D-TEC BD City Dolly has been shown at the open days at Burgers Carosserie in Aalsmeer (NL) on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 May.

Compared with all the LHV distribution trailer variants already on the market, this is something completely new. The D-TEC dolly has just a single axle, which saves weight and fuel.
Practical experience gained so far using various LHV concepts for retail distribution has shown that five axles are enough for a complete towed unit. It has also been noted that a steered dolly considerably increases the deployability of an LHV in this type of transport.
D-TEC’s engineers therefore looked for a variant that is able to combine both properties. The single-axle dolly of the LHV combination in this version has therefore been equipped with a steering system. This patented steering system is still in the experimental stage and has been created together with VSE and Weweler.

It will also be shown at the D-TEC open day on Saturday 19 June.

The first BD City Dolly in this variant will be deployed by Peter Appel Transport.
